About me
As an orthopaedic surgeon, I focus on the examination and treatment of diseases in the musculoskeletal system and related tumour diseases in my clinical work.
As evidenced by my professional career, tumour diseases in the musculoskeletal system have been one of my main areas of focus since I have completed my studies at Graz University of Medicine with excellent success..
During a 4-year research stay at University College London, I was able to deepen my knowledge in this specialist field.
I currently hold the position of Deputy Head of the Orthopaedic Tumour Team at Graz University Clinic for Orthopaedics and Trauma.
I have complemented and expanded my medical expertise through a variety of additional qualifications, such as the Pain Management Diploma from the Austrian Medical Chamber, and through several years as a consultant medical doctor in the field of rehabilitation.
As I am also a member of the board of the Styrian branch of Krebshilfe Österreich, the Austrian cancer support charity, I am involved with these health issues at various levels.
